Sodium Hyaluronate
Hyaluronic Acid
"Deep, lasting hydration from within."
What it is
About Hyaluronic Acid
Hyaluronic Acid is the skin's own natural humectant — a molecule that occurs naturally in the dermis and is responsible for maintaining skin hydration and volume. As we age, HA levels decline. Topical Sodium Hyaluronate (the salt form, which penetrates more effectively) replenishes this moisture reservoir.

Key Benefits
What it does for your skin
Intense, immediate hydration
Sodium Hyaluronate can hold up to 1,000 times its own weight in water. Applied topically, it draws moisture from the environment and deeper skin layers to the surface, delivering an immediate plumping effect.
Reduces fine lines
By restoring hydration to the upper layers of the skin, Hyaluronic Acid visibly reduces the appearance of fine lines and surface dehydration lines — particularly around the eyes and mouth.
Supports skin barrier function
Adequate hydration is essential for a healthy skin barrier. HA helps maintain the optimal moisture balance that allows the barrier to function effectively, reducing sensitivity and reactivity.
Enhances active delivery
A well-hydrated skin surface allows other actives — including Vitamin C and Alpha-Arbutin — to penetrate more effectively, amplifying the overall efficacy of the formula.
Suitable for all skin types
Hyaluronic Acid is non-comedogenic, fragrance-free, and exceptionally well-tolerated. It is one of the few actives suitable for every skin type, including oily, acne-prone, and sensitive skin.
The Science
The science
Sodium Hyaluronate is the sodium salt of Hyaluronic Acid — a smaller molecular weight form that penetrates the stratum corneum more effectively than high-molecular-weight HA. It functions as a humectant, drawing water into the skin from both the environment and deeper dermal layers. Clinical studies consistently demonstrate improvements in skin hydration, elasticity, and the appearance of fine lines with regular topical application.
Sodium Hyaluronate is highly stable across a wide pH range and is compatible with all other actives in the Daily Glow Serum formula. It does not degrade or interact with Vitamin C, Niacinamide, or Alpha-Arbutin.
Our Concentration
2%
At 2%, Sodium Hyaluronate delivers meaningful hydration benefits without the tacky or heavy texture associated with higher concentrations. This level provides optimal humectant activity while maintaining the lightweight, fast-absorbing texture of the Daily Glow Serum.
How to Use
Apply the Daily Glow Serum to slightly damp skin to maximise the humectant effect of Hyaluronic Acid — it draws moisture from the environment, so a slightly moist surface enhances absorption. Follow immediately with a moisturiser to seal in hydration.
